DCVR‘s renovation consists of 2,200 square feet focusing on a lobby and front office renovation that features an open lobby concept enhanced with curved block and artistic-glass feature walls. Several exam rooms for evaluating and treating the animals are strategically located behind the glass-block walls. The reception lobby is a colorful and inviting area accentuated with a custom reception desk, custom cabinetry, laminated flooring, and elevated ceilings with ceiling tiles crafted with fun paw prints scattered along the hallways. The balanced blend of natural and interior LED lighting, along with the warmth from the textured wall coverings, creates a safe and calming environment.
Around the corner from the reception area is where the patient treatment and recovery areas are located. Other renovated areas include offices, staff meditation room, restrooms, and the refurbishment and painting of the exterior of the building. The project was constructed in six weeks by the team which also included, STH Design Associates and Munther Interior Design.
